The wing pylon is made considering the wings profile and dihedral angle: For that, the center area of the wing is cut out of styrofoam and used as a mold for laminating several layers of glass. 

 The laminate is then trimmed to a nice shape and glued to a pylon made of foam and balsa, just like a wing:
