When sealing a vacuum bag with silicone, acrylic or sealing tape, often the bag is used once or twice before being replaced. Also, after starting the vacuum it's difficult to temporarily reopen the bag for potential correction or adding of new parts. Phil Barnes uses quick clips in his DVD, however I couldn't find any to buy. However the principle is simple and can be realised with standard parts from home depot. I bought a u-shaped plastic profile and an accordingly sized rubber tube.

This is a clean and reliable setup to close and easily open your vacuum bag.
